Leysdown and Bay View are full of holiday parks, and lots of our airport customers are holidaymakers flying in or heading home. Here's how a holiday park airport transfer works.
When you book
- The park name and your unit or plot number
- Any gate code, or whether vehicles can drive in
- How many people, cases, buggies and car seats
- Your flight number, for pickups from the airport
Arriving for your holiday
We'll meet you at the airport and bring you straight to the park, so you don't need to carry luggage on and off trains. Most parks have a check-in time, so tell us if you'll arrive early and want to stop for shopping on the way.
Going home on changeover day
Saturdays and Mondays in summer are busy changeover days. Book your return early, and we'll plan the pickup around your check-out time and flight.
How long does it take?
Leysdown is at the eastern end of Sheppey, so allow a little longer than from Sheerness: typically 1 hr 15 – 1 hr 35 to Gatwick and 1 hr 5 – 1 hr 25 to London City. All times are on our Leysdown airport taxi page, and Bay View's are almost identical: airport taxis in Bay View.
