Whether it's a trip to the vet or bringing a pet home, here's what to know about taking an animal in a taxi.

Assistance dogs

Under the Equality Act 2010, licensed drivers must carry assistance dogs and can't charge extra, unless they hold a medical exemption certificate. Let us know when you book so we can plan.

Pets

  • Tell us when you book, including the type and size of animal
  • Use a secure carrier for cats and small animals
  • Bring a blanket or towel for dogs
  • Keep dogs on a lead and in the footwell or on the blanket

Vet trips

For a visit to the vet, book a return or call us when you're ready. If it's urgent, call us straight away and we'll do our best to get a car to you quickly.
