Open 24/7Your journey from Sheerness to Heathrow
From Sheerness, London Heathrow is about 82 miles by road, usually 1 hr 35 – 2 hr door to terminal. It's the fifth-closest of the 12 airports we serve from Sheerness.
The usual route is the A249, M20, M26, M25 and M4. There's no Thames crossing on this route, which makes the journey time more predictable.
Heathrow has four terminals (2, 3, 4 and 5), and they're spread out, so knowing yours before you set off saves time. The western section of the M25 is one of the busiest motorways in the country, which is why we allow extra margin on Heathrow runs.
